Seen the Adam Lambert song performance from the American Music Awards 2009 yet? It's become a popular search online as many music fans want to view the artist's work. Adam Lambert's AMA video on Youtube is the American Idol winner's debut performance post-AI. According to the AMA announcer, there has been months of anticipation for Lambert debut album, and this is his first song. Lambert told interviewers before he did this number it would be "edgy" and it certainly was. The song is called "For your Entertainment" and that's what Lambert set out to do. The routine features Lambert on a bright stage with flashing lights, chairs, poles, doors and other interesting structures. Also on stage are both male and female dancers. Lambert dances provocatively around through the various set pieces wearing an interesting suit complete with spikes on his left shoulder area. And at one point after toying with both male and female dancers he kisses the keyboard guy. There's also a simulated act, which Lambert later admits he got carried away with. However, it's definitely drawn quite a bit of attention to the new singer and could ignite his career more.

I had some issues with my latest Autrain roundtrip last week. On the way down ..the engine broke and we stopped for hours. Why did the engine break, shouldn't that stuff be checked/fixed prior to departure???? The staff was wonderful, the food was wonderful. The ride back had a different but also irritating issue. The toilets broke in our car. First one went down, then within a hour the second one was out.....by the end of the night all three were gone in our car. Occasionally that wonderful odor would pass our way and land in our little roomettes. Once again....staff was wonderful, food was wonderful. We arrive in Lorton about 7:30 am ....ok, great whoo-hoo...we have to wait til 8 for the yard crew to start work..ok.....well they BS'ed til almost 9am...took the sweetest time to get the cars out. I got my car around 10am. The longest I have ever waited. As advised....I call Amtrak Customer Service and let them know how I felt regarding this recent roundtrip excursion and they said they were issueing vouchers toward a future train ride since this one was quite inconveinent and smelly. I have been thru up & downs, computers failing, cruises, trips with sick daughters, death and now my friend is in the hospital with a brain infection. I left on Nov 11 for what was supposed to be a day in Washington with my sister before the task of resume cleaning of my father's home down in Florida.....well that got scrapped...a nor'easter hits. We board Amtrak Autotrain on Nov 12th on time and pull out of the station at 4 with the news that they would keep us posted on the nor'easter and if it is going to interfere with our trip. That night the train stops...for hours. I am thinking it is because of the storm , but wait, I thought we passed those areas.....the engine gave out and had to be fixed. We arrive at the station about 1:40 when we should have been there by 9am. The week down there went ok, we got done alot. On Nov 19th we once again board Amtrak for the northbound trip home. The train is really booking, running real smooth. Then we realize...two of the three toilets are not working. Hours later the third one is out. We arrived at the Lorton Station by 7:30 but with all the workers lolly gaging....we don't get our car til 10am. The crew starts at 8, but they stood around bs'ing, and taking the sweetest time I have seen....plus they had trainees that day. I got home at 6:30 at night on Friday. I should have been home by 1-2 pm Saturday , Nov 23 I received a phone call that hit me hard. My best and closest friend was in the hospital with a brain infection and had brain surgery the night before. Devastated is an understatement. I went to the movies by myself in one theater and my daughter /boyfriend went into the other....I cried thru out the movie and prayed to God to make my friend ok. I cannot deal with the thought of losing her. She is like my adoptive mother. All my girls consider her to be a grandmother figure. I went to go see her on Sunday and it broke my heart. I didn't recognize her. But at least she is going to recover and her memory is intact. It is just going to take alot of recovery time. Comments: 2| view all » comment on this post »
